Project Summary

This job centered on turning an outdated main washroom into a lavish, spa-inspired getaway built for both unwinding and daily usefulness. The work involved a full room arrangement change, setup of a bespoke two-sink unit, switch to a roomy step-in shower, high-end surface covering, upgraded water fixtures, and a carefully crafted multi-level lighting scheme.

The aim was to lift the area visually while improving relaxation, storage, and movement — creating a polished environment that feels wide, peaceful, and ageless.

The Issue

The original washroom felt tight and poorly laid out, with limited work space and not enough storage. Dim lighting made the room seem smaller and less welcoming, while the closed-off shower style contributed to a blocked, old-fashioned appearance.

Despite having enough total square footage, the arrangement did not take advantage of the available room, and the finishes lacked harmony and current attractiveness.

The Fix

We reworked the layout to boost openness and flow throughout the room. The outdated shower was swapped for a roomy step-in design with clear glass panels, allowing for unobstructed views and a more expansive feel. A separate soaking tub was placed as a striking centerpiece, adding a sense of luxury and harmony to the overall look.

Bespoke two-sink units were built to provide plentiful storage and counter area, improving both order and daily ease. Large-format ceramic tiles were picked to create visual flow and cut down on seam lines, contributing to a smooth, modern style.

Multi-level lighting — including built-in ceiling lights, mirror fixture lighting, and accent spots — was added to provide ideal work lighting while boosting atmosphere and warmth.

The Outcome

The finished washroom now serves as a calm, spa-like getaway inside the home. The improved layout offers better movement and relaxation, while high-quality finishes and thoughtful design touches create a refined feel.

Beyond its visual change, the renovation greatly improves everyday usability and adds lasting market worth to the property, delivering a perfect mix of elegance, usefulness, and current luxury.
